My research
is mainly on the theory of semiconductors using ab initio
atomistic
computer modelling methods with atom clusters and supercells.

At the moment I'm interested in making radiation hard silicon detectors,
such as
  - tin-vacancy complexes in silicon

 - tin-carbon vacancy complexes in silicon

and additionally
  - hydrogen in Silicon Carbide

 - modifications in amorphous carbon due to titanium precipitation

In the past
I was keen on diamond and amorphous carbon using
plane wave ab-initio methods,
tight-binding and classical potentials (see the publications below).
