Overview |
Our alternating gradient magnetometer (AGM) is housed in an Oxford
Instruments Helium bath cryostat system that allows operation between
1.5 and 400 K. An electromagnet supplying up to 5 kOe of magnetic
field can be rotated about the cryostat tail so that the magnetic
field may be applied in different directions relative to the sample.
Hysteresis loops are quickly obtained from thin films with thicknesses
less than 100 nm. |
